Guru Dakshina: Course Fee or contribution to the teacher
The Sanskrit term Guru Dakshina refers to the ancient tradition of offering something of value to the teacher in exchange for something of even greater value. This exchange initiates a transfer of energy that results in the transfer of profound knowledge, transforming the field consciousness.

Generations ago, Guru Dakshina was offered in the form of crops, cattle, or other valuable goods. Often, students would travel for weeks or months, hiking and camping in the Himalayas to find their teacher.
Nowadays, as the tradition has adapted to modern life, the student makes a monetary contribution before the course starts, representing the modern equivalent of this time-honored exchange.

If, after attending an online or in-person introductory talk, you choose to learn to meditate, there is a one-time course fee. This fee is based on a sliding scale according to financial means, with the amount set by the student. These contribution system allows everyone to offer something meaningful while receiving high - quality meditation instruction.
