Growing up, the soundtrack at home was boleros, Latin music, and Mexican folk and pop — his grandparents composed and performed, and music was always present. With internet culture came a wider world: grunge, trip-hop, rock, alt, blues, funk, jazz, psychedelic rock, and eventually the underground electronic and DJ culture that would define his creative path. Two years learning music theory and a later degree in sound engineering and years of music production followed — building a foundation as broad as it is deep.

Under his alias Tejedor, Sergio has performed at clubs and festivals across Mexico, Europe, and the Americas — navigating comfortably between downtempo and high-energy dance floors, melting genre boundaries with elegance and ease. His sets read the room with intention: from eclectic, contemplative down to earth journeys to pulsating electronic floors where techno, melodic, and house blend with deep cuts and moments of genuine surprise.

After stepping back from performing in 2020 to deepen his meditation practice and develop his painting work, Tejedor returned to the decks in 2023 with renewed presence. He is currently preparing his debut EP — a self-produced blend of mid tempo electronic, alternative, and rock/folk, featuring his vocals and original instrumentation, set for release in 2026 — alongside an active season of DJ sets and live performances.
